NATURAL ASPEN HIDING SPOTS

These hand-crafted wooden hides are made from aspen logs, collected from virgin forests in the Cariboo region of British Columbia.

​

Gathering the excess standing wood is an environmentally friendly practice which is encouraged by the government because it helps reduce the risk of wildfires.

​

The collected wood is chainsawed, heat sterilized in the oven, and then crafted into various shapes.

 

The halved logs are a great source of environmental enrichment for any number of small animals 
(geckos, dragons, snakes, rodents, birds, etc.). 

 

They also look very attractive with live plants like mosses and bromeliads attached, or with potted plants hidden within. 

Your pets will love them. Happiness is guaranteed.
